Welded Sub-Assemblies
Sheet and tube welded sub-assemblies: robotic MIG/MAG, TIG and spot welding on in-house fixtures, delivered painted and ready to fit.
We turn the parts we press and laser-cut into welded sub-assemblies in the same plant. High-volume, repeatable work runs on robotic MIG/MAG stations, precise stainless and aluminium joints are TIG welded, and sheet panels are spot welded. Because we design and build our own welding fixtures, new parts launch quickly.

Why TDM Otomotiv?
With forming, welding, painting and assembly in one plant there is no transfer of semi-finished parts and the whole process sits under one quality system. Our certified welders work to processes aligned with IATF 16949, and our quality management system is ISO 9001:2015 certified.
Frequently asked questions
Which welding processes do you use for sub-assemblies?
Robotic MIG/MAG, manual TIG and spot welding; high-volume work runs on robotic lines, prototypes and low volumes are welded by certified welders.
Do you make all the parts of the sub-assembly?
Yes. We press-form and laser-cut the sheet parts and CNC-bend the tubes; welding, painting and assembly happen in the same plant.
How is weld quality verified?
Visual inspection, seam penetration checks and microscope-assisted penetration tests; critical dimensions are measured by 3D blue laser at 0.02 mm.
Which industries do you supply welded sub-assemblies to?
Automotive (seat-frame and body sub-assemblies), agricultural machinery (cab and chassis structures) and commercial vehicles (grab frames and brackets).
